I am writing on behalf of my Dad, Dave Kurtz from Weston, who wishes to send condolences to Mr. Johnson 's family. In recent years Dad had a stroke but still remembers "Freddie" fondly from the stock car racing era (Dad raced mostly in the 1950's at Elkins, Pennsboro, Norwood Park, etc.). Since Mom passed away in 2015, Dad has been living at the Suites at Heritage Point in Morgantown. A few months ago I took him to Ruby & Ketchy's, not realizing the racing history and that Freddie was a regular, which the waitress pointed out after Dad saw the photos and evidently recalled the track that was nearby. In spite of short-term memory loss, Dad remembered Freddie and even pointed out the sad news recently when he saw it in the Dominion Post. I regret not getting Dad back to see Freddie so they could share some racing memories. We are so sorry for your loss.

I am so sorry for your loss. The death of a love one can be extremely difficult to cope with. Many have found comfort in the many promises found in God's word the bible. Acts 24:15 has special meaning for many. There it speaks about the resurrection. By means of the resurrection our loving Creator, Jehovah God, will restore life back to those sleeping in death as promised (Titus1:2). Please embrace this wonderful promise of God during this difficult time.

Betty and Fred's entire family.
Please accept my deepest condolences on Fred's passing. I have know Fred since the early sixties when he raced at the old Morgantown Speedway, as well as being a fellow Cheat Necker. I am undoubtedly sure that Fred will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
In Sympathy,
