Beege is the lifelong friend everyone wishes to have and her friendship was one of the greatest gifts of my life. I met Beege in 7th grade and from the beginning she was my best friend. Loyal, caring, hi;arious, wise, sensitie to those around her-the loss of her is devastating.
Joe and Vivian, Beege's parents, had a fire cracker on their hands from day one and I could see how they loved her and delighted in their daughter's unique soul.
Beege brought deep joy into countless lives. She carried the spirit of MHS (espec. Class of '66) with great pride and her classmates were her friends for life.
Years of priceless memories, Beege "stories", could fill books. She was a bright light always and I celebrate her amazing life.
I grieve with the many who loved her.

Beege, I cannot believe we have lost you. You were such an important part of my life growing up. We had so many laughs, often we were quite devious, and frequently got ourselves into trouble. When you walked into a room, it lit up immediately. We had such fun & you were a big part of my early days.
I know from our conversations, that the past few months were quite difficult for you. The pain of your condition, the indignities of illness. But you had many devoted friends who cared & looked after you. A tribute to how important you were to countless lives. And you were greatly appreciative of their support. I'm only sorry that I lived too far away to be physically there to assist and comfort you.
So many memories I have of you ~ your spirit will always be with me. Rest in peace, my dear friend. Jean Dorsey Karlson

I loved going to the MHS class of 66 reunions. Beege always made me feel very welcome. The ability to make others feel welcome is an attribute that many do not have.. I will miss seeing her. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and close friends.

I remember meeting Beege when we were about age 5. Adventurous Beege had walked a block up the street to my grandmother's house and they were talking about flowers. My grandmother introduced her as "Beegie Weegie". We went to different elementary schools and caught up at Morgantown Junior High. Beege was always cutting up especially in Band. The girl loved to dance on Friday nights in junior high at the Pres or during MHS at Wesley. Around graduation time Beege and the Class of '66 Reunion Committee set the way forward. We would have a reunion in 10 years and every 5 years thereafter and we did. Other classes had not done that. We even had Birthday Parties as we all reached benchmark ages. Our last reunion at 50 years was extra special because a section of the current MHS band played for us in the Hotel Morgan ballroom. Covid got in the way of our 55th, but Beege and the committee held us all together for 50 years and always looking forward to the next reunion because there never seemed to be enough time to chat with our classmates. Great lady; Fun lady. We will miss her smile.

Nobody could lighten the mood as quickly as Beege! No one enjoyed their hamburger and crispy French fries as much as Beege! She was truly one of a kind and will be greatly missed.
